1941 - Astounding magazine published the 32nd story Asimov wrote, "Nightfall".
1942 - Published the first of his Foundation stories. Married Gertrude Blugerman.
1956 - Published "The Last Question", where the computer Multivac famously responds "Insufficient data
for meaningful answer...".
1964 - His social science fiction novelette "Nightfall" was voted by the Science Fiction Writers of
America "the best short science fiction story of all time".
1992 - Died at the age of 72 in Brooklyn, New York City.
